Design

The graphic design of FLOSS+Art is done by Harrisson, Ludivine Loiseau and Yi Jang of OSP (Open Source Publishing) at Constant, 292 and Studio Savoie, Brussels. The book is typeset with Libertinage fonts and Not-Courier Sans. The Libertinage Font Set is composed of 27 fonts developed specifically for this book by Harrisson and Ludivine Loiseau. "Libertinage A to Z" are fonts where one letter of the latin alphabet has been derived from the Linux Libertine Font. "Libertinage Full" integrates all the modified glyphs in a single font. Libertinage set is released under the OFL License and is available at the Open Font Library. Not-Courier sans font is released under GPL2 License and is available at the Open Font Library. This book has been designed with open source software: Open Office (text processing), Scribus (layout and typesetting), Gimp (bitmap images), Inkscape (vector manipulation) and Fontforge (font editor). Dropped initials were done with Figlet.
